What is the VOSB Certification?

The Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) certification recognizes businesses where veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces hold at least 51% ownership and maintain day-to-day operational control. While the SDVOSB designation is specifically for service-disabled veterans, VOSB certification broadens access to all honorably discharged veterans — and it comes with its own set of set-aside opportunities, particularly through the Department of Veterans Affairs and other federal agencies with veteran-owned business spending goals.
